Roadmap

To support Figuro's vision with product and engineering, we believe that insurance should be easy to understand, easy to purchase, and easy to use. This means creating an insurance experience that is not only accessible but also comprehensive, giving customers the tools they need to fully understand their coverage and make informed decisions.

In order to achieve this, we are constantly exploring new technologies and data analytics to better serve modern consumers. We are also committed to providing a seamless customer experience, from the moment they purchase their policy through any necessary claims process. Our goal is to create a new standard for insurance that not only meets the needs of today's consumers, but also anticipates their future needs and preferences.

Insurance Stakeholders

We have identified three key stakeholders involved in the process of acquiring an insurance policy: the insurer or carrier, the intermediary or agent, and the final user or customer.

As a disruptive player in the industry, Figuro aims to revolutionize the insurance experience for all stakeholders, with a special focus on enhancing the final user's experience. To achieve this goal, we have developed a comprehensive infrastructure with three levels of products, services, and support:

  • First, our state-of-the-art technology platform empowers carriers to leverage the latest technological advancements in the insurance industry, providing a more efficient and streamlined experience for all parties involved.
  • Second, we have built a robust platform that enables our agents to interact, intermediate, and provide expert support to both carriers and customers throughout the policy acquisition process, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.
  • Finally, we have designed a user-centric experience that allows final users to easily and efficiently acquire their policies in a digital format, providing a level of convenience and accessibility that was previously unavailable in the industry. With our customer-centered approach, we aim to improve the way insurance policies are acquired and managed, benefiting all stakeholders and ultimately contributing to a more efficient and effective insurance industry.

To tackle the issues mentioned, we have developed a multifaceted strategy at Figuro that includes:

  • Building in-house infrastructure to create an API ecosystem for open insurance. We are also reverse-engineering carrier models and integrating existing technology to find solutions.
  • Integrating modern CRMs and front desk services with automation workflows and our infrastructure to support customers at scale with minimal human intervention.
  • Creating a platform that allows users to quote and underwrite policies while receiving personalized service. We will work closely with customers to ensure their satisfaction and provide innovative solutions catering to their specific needs.

Engineering Resources

Figuro Engineering has three specialized teams that provide comprehensive services to our clients.

Our Development team is responsible for building the quoting, binding, and underwriting experiences that our clients rely on to make informed decisions about their insurance needs.

Our Integration Office is responsible for integrating and developing bridges between external services such as CRM and front desk solutions, KYC providers, insurers, and other third-party providers, as well as our internal platforms. This ensures that our internal agents have access to the latest tools in the market, and that Figuro build all capabilities needed to scale.

Our Data Office is responsible for maintaining the data pipelines and building machine learning models for data-driven decision making in business, commercial, and product areas. Our team of experts is dedicated to analyzing large amounts of data to provide insights that help our clients make informed decisions about their insurance needs.
